HAILSTORM IN CALGARY
WHEAT CROPS LEVELLED A BIG AREA AFFECTED CALGARY, Aug. 1. The most severe hail during the summer, followed by torrential rains, laid waste thousands of acres of fine wheat over a strip four miles wide and 60 miles long, in Central Alberta.
