BURLINGTON LIARS' CLUB

A BAND OF BROTHERHOOD NEW ZEALAND REPRESENTATIVE (Phi United Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 21. Wellington possesses a member of the famous Burlington Liars' Club, which was brought into prominence when it admitted to its ranks Corrigan, the American airman. This is Mr L. Salek, who many years back got in touch with the club and was elected a member through forwarding samples of prevarication which came to light in the Dominion from time to time. He was later appointed New Zealand representative of the club. Mr Salek stated that the Burlington Liars’ Club is composed of some of the wealthiest men in the United States, and is one of the biggest charitable organisations of America, with members all over the world. It is a great band of brotherhood which does much humanitarian work.
