ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Taieri Horticultural Society was presided oVer by Mr J. F. McCartney. The balance sheet and report, which were adopted, showed an increased credit. The following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr W. L. Wood; president, Mr J. F. McCartney: vicepresidents. Mr S. E. Pilling (senior), Mr S. McMillan (junior); secretary Miss M. Swallow; committee —Mesdames M Wilson, W. Korner, J. Kirkland, G. Smith and J. McAusland Miss McPherson and Messrs J F, McCartney, J. Aitken. J. RBrown, S. E. Pilling, S. McMillan. R. Renton and J. A. Borrie. It was decided to. continue with the present schedules for a further year.
