ENGLISH TOURING TEAM NELSON OUTCLASSED (I’i;;i! United (’miss Association) NELSON, June 15. In brilliant weather and on the best ground yet experienced in the Dominion, the English women’s hockey team outclassed Nelson this afternoon in all departments of the game The final score was: England 10 goals. Nelson nil. The visiting forwards revelled in the fast conditions and showed speed and clever stickwork They attacked for most of the game. The Nelson goalkeeper played a sterling game and kept the score down. The scorers were: O’Donoghue (3), West (2). Wright (2). Lodge (2) and Judd.
