HEAVIEST FALL FOR YEARS (Per United Press Association) TIMARU, June 15;'' After four days of south-easterly weather, during which over three inches of rain fell, causing creeks to flood and block the roads in several places, the weather is now fine and sunny. . The heaviest fall of snow in the Mount Cook regions for years lids been experienced at the Hermitage, where 14 inches of snow was registered yesterday. The bus ran into two feet of snow. The Huskie camp road to Ball Hut yesterday was blocked as the result of a heavy fall, but a snow plough should have the route clear to-day. There was several feet of snow, at the ski-ing grounds near Ball Hut and the fall is very opportune view of a heavy winter sports programme.
