SCOTTISH HARRIER CLUB

PROPOSAL FOR FORMATION A meeting of the various Scottish organisations of Dunedin was held m the Caledonian Society’s rooms on Monday evening to consider the formation of a Dunedin Scottish Harnei Club. Mr James Caldwell, who presided, explained that Mr Campbell Dawkins had approached the council of the Dunedin Scottish Societies with a proposal that such a club should be formed under the control of the council. Mr Dawkins outlined the points in favour of the formation of the club, and included in his remarks a short history of the development of athletics. , . , __ After a discussion, in which Messrs Arthur Macdonald, C. W. Clark. N. S. Sutherland, and J. L. W.
