DEATHS OF TWO BOYS NEGLIGENT DISPENSING ALLEGED SYDNEY, May 27. (Received May 27, at 11.5 p.m.) The coroner concluded the inquiry into the deaths of the two boys Cobban. A verdict was returned that their deaths were due to the effects of a deadly drug known as paraldehyde administered in an excessive amount, and " due to the negligent preparation of medical prescriptions by Walter Peck, a chemist and dispenser, at the Burwood Friendly Societies' Dispensary." Peck was committed for trial on a charge of manslaughter.
