THE KAIMIRO DISPUTE
REFERRED TO WELLINGTON ACTION BY UNION (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 26. After having remained idle at Auckland for more than a week following a dispute between the crew and the owners, the Union Steam Ship Company’s steamer Kaimiro is expected to sail for Wellington tomorrow afternoon. During the past week discussions by both parties had yielded no result, but a meeting of the Seamen’s Union to-day instructed the crew to take the Kaimiro to Wellington, where the dispute will be handled by the headquarters of the union. The dispute was the result of the dismissal of a fireman on May 15 on the voyage from Wellington to Auckland
