Thursday, May 19 (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.) Judgment by default was given for the plaintiffs in the following cases;—Ernest Cogger (Kurow) v. Stewart, Dawson and Co., Ltd. v. Leslie Henderson, claim £3 Os 6d on a judgment of the court. —The debtor did not appear, and an order was made for immediate payment of the amount, with costs (8s), in default three days’ imprisonment. Alexander Mackay v. J. Reid, claim £6 5s on a judgment summons.—The debtor gave evidence as to his circumstances, and no order was made.

Woodsweai, Ltd. v. Leslie Henderson, claim £4 19s 6d on a judgment summons. —There was no appearance of the debtor, who was ordered to pay the amount, with costs (8s), forthwith, in default five days’ imprisonment.
