DIPPING” AN AMERICAN NEW ZEALANDER TO THE RESCUE A much-travellea Wellington lady tells of an experience that will interest all New Zealanders:— I thought perhaps you might like to hear of an experience 1 had when crossing from New Zealand to San Francisco some little time ago. An elderly passenger—an American—after being ' dipped' crossing the line, developed a heavy cold. I missed him and inquired the cause, and was told he was very bad.
