GERMAN OPEN CARS
EXPORTS TO ENGLAND HUNDREDS SENT EVERY WEEK LONDON. May 12. (Received May 13, at 1.35 a.m.) The newspapers publish pictures showing thousands of German open cars lined up on the Southampton dock ; where hundreds are being landed every week. Motor traders are dissatisfied, and deprecate the possibility of dumping. The Manchester Guardian’s city correspondent points out that the cars are being openly sold more cheaply in Britain than in Germany which has exported over half her entire output. The retail price in Britain is £135, or £lO under the lowest prices of the British cars
