EVEREST EXPEDITION
A RACE AGAINST TIME EARLY MONSOON PREDICTED LONDON, May i2. (Received May 12, at 10.30 p.m.) The Times Calcutta correspondent says the Everest expedition is concerned over the prediction of an early monsoon, which will result in the shortening of the time available to complete the climb A month has elapsed since he Rongbuk Glacier base camp was established. It was originally anticipated that the final assault would be made before the end of April.
