MAGISTRATE’S COURT
Tuesday, March 29 (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew. S.M.) UNDEFENDED CASES Judgment for the plaintiffs was given in the following undefended cases: — Reilly’s Central Produce Mart, Ltd., v. L. Hillary (Cromwell), claim £ll 15s Id, for fruit supplied, with costs (£2 4s); Otago Co-operative Milk Supply Company, Ltd., v. I. Wood, claim £1 16s sd, for balance owing on goods supplied, with costs (13s); T. J. Moynihan v. T. Johnston (Waimate), claim £4 3s, for professional services rendered, with costs (£1 9s 6d); Smith and Smith, Ltd., v. Alfred Wilkinson, claim 19s 6d. for goods supplied, with costs (8s). JUDGMENT SUMMONSES Parisian Neckwear Company, Ltd. (Auckland), proceeded against J. Coory on a judgment summons, claiming £3 18s.—The magistrate ordered the defendant to pay forthwith the amount owing, with costs (8s). in default four days’ imprisonment. Ivor Robert Prescott proceeded against Stanley Anderson on a judgment summons claiming £8 11s 6d.— The magistrate ordered the defendant to pay forthwith the amount owing, with costs (11s), in default nine days’ imprisonment.
