SERIOUSLY INJURED

AUSTRALIAN SINGER MISS GLADYS MONCRIEFF MELBOURNE, Mar. 29. (Received Mar. 30. at 0.30 a.m.) The Australian singer, Miss Gladys Moncrieff, and her manager, W. Iredale, were seriously injured to-day in a car accident near Geelong on a trip from Adelaide to Melbourne. The car collided with an electric light pole. Miss Moncrieff received a fractured leg, a compound fracture of the left arm, and an injury to her neck, and suffered from shock. Mr Iredale suffered a fractured leg and nose and extensive lacerations. Miss Moncrieff had just completed a broadcasting and concert tour in Adelaide.
