JAPAN’S TERRITORIAL AIMS
If Jsfcan has territorial aims, ■which are entirely justified by the pressure of her birth rate and the smallness of her territory, these aims are cei’tainly not directed against China,_ because the rich provinces of China are as thickly populated as the rich provinces of Japan, says the Gazetta del Popolo, Rome. Not many years will pass before it will become clear which is the real direction of Japanese expansion. Not many years will pass before the world will hear them speak of the enormous undeveloped riches of Australia, and the little yellow men will affirm their right to exploit this Immense unpopulated territory.
