“BAA, BAA, BLACK SHEEP”
OPENING TO-MORROW NIGHT Hugo Bonsor (Claude Gray), the hero of the comedy “ Baa, Baa, Black Sheep,” knows a really good parlour trick. To give it away would spoil the whole show, but it can be taken for granted that Hugo is in the first rank of entertainers, but it is not until the final act that he condescends to perform this trick. And although he has much wealth and few brains, he gets the charming young actress Chickie (Breta Callender). out of many scrapes. This witty comedy was written by lan Hay and P. G. Wodehouse. The plot is exceedingly well planned; there are unexpected twists and turns, especially in the final scene, where the majesty of British law and order lakes an interest in the activities of a well-known London night club. Mrs Audrey Stephens is the producer, and the box plan is at the D.I.C. for the three-nights’ season commencing to-morrow night.
