CUSTOMS TARIFFS
NEW SCALE OF DUTIES A COMPARATIVE TABLE The table which Is published in the adjacent columns gives the Customs tariffs items in respect of which increases have been applied under the new agreements announced by the Minister of Customs (Mr W. Nash) this week. The table shows the tariff rates now operating from all countries and the increase in ad valorem duties. Excepting tariff item 196, Canadian goods included herein are now exempt from
•surtax. This schedule has been compiled by Messrs Arthur Mcßae and Co., Customs and tariff consultants, Dunedin.
