BASEBALL
RAILWAY CLUB FORMED At a well-attended meeting in the Railway Social Hall last night at which Mr C. Campbell Dawkins presided, it was decided, on the motion of Mr E. Smith, seconded by Mr A. Wisneski, that a Railway Baseball Club be formed. « The following officers were elected: President, Mr A. Clark; vice-presidents —Messrs F. J. Raines, W. M. Cole, I. W. Blackmore, and C. Pope; chairman, Mr A. Wisneski; secretary, Mr C. H. Irvine; treasurer. Mr F. Smith; committee —Messrs Brockett, D. McLeod, A. Maslin, W. F. Coutts, M. J. Fahey, D. Smith, F. Smith, J. Fletcher, and G. McGoldrich; delegates to Otago Association —Messrs Wispgski, Brockett, and Irvine. It was arranged that a game be played at Hancock Park this afternoon between teams from the Railway and Dunedin Clubs.
