Harvesting Harvesting is almost completed in the district. Farmers are faced with the problem of securing water for their stock, the season being the driest experienced for years. Cricket Waiwera cricket team suffered defeat in the Edwards-Russell Cup match on Saturday, when the High School team met them on the Waiwera Recreation Ground Waiwera batted first and made 42 runs. High School replying with 184. Personal Messrs R. Shepherd and W. McKenzie leave to-day an a motor tour of Eglinton Valley and the Lakes district.
