SOUTHLAND DEFEATS OTAGO The annual match for the Cooke Banner between teams representing the Otago and Southland Women’s Bowling Associations was played on the association’s green at Logan Park yesterday. Southland, the holders, defeating Otago after a well-contested and interesting game. Each province was represented by six rinks. The visitors were subsequently entertained at a card evening at the Leith Bowling Club.
