ALLEGED THEFT

TWO MEN CHARGED (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 29. Herbert Ernest Derenze, aged 27 years, a salesman, and Harold Newman, aged 38 years, a clerk, were charged before Mr J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M., with robbing George William Sixsmith, with violence, of t. wallet containing £25 10s. Sub-inspector McLean said that he had discovered that Derenze was not the correct name of the first accused. The men were remanded till Friday, bail being fixed to £l5O.
