(Received Jan. 30, at 6.30 p.mJ The Paris correspondent of The Times states that 28 foreigners have been arrested in France and four others in Warsaw on charges of selling forged passports. One business is alleged to have been conducted by Poles for countrymen wishing to take advantage of the Paris Exhibition to enable them to settle in France. So-called tourist agencies in Paris obtained passports from various consulates and forwarded them to Warsaw, where, new photographs and stamps were affixed. The same passport was used repeatedly. Two Hungarians are charged with gelling Luxembourg passports in Paris cafes at £l7O each. Five Chinese were arrested at Toulouse in connection with the sale of passports to Chinese war refugees.
