NEW ZEALAND MEAT

DISPLAY AT SMITHFIELD HIGH PRAISE FROM JUDGES LONDON, Jan. 5. Mr W. J. Jordan and many prominent traders inspected the New Zealand Meat Board display at Smithfield. There were 18 entries, including 36 head of chilled beef from the Palmerston North Royal Show. All the entries were from North Island farms. The first and second prizes were won by Mr El. W. Wall and the third prize by Mr W. G. Booth.

The judges reported that it was the best chilled beef from the dominions ever seen at Smithfield.
