SUCCESSFUL DEMONSTRATION

The successful Sydney areoplane designer, Captain Pcrciva] has en tered the commercial field with a six-seatcr machine He gave a successful demonstration of it to-day The new type, known as the Percival Q 6, is a low wing monoplane, with two Gipsy engines of 205 h.p. each. It has variable-oitch propellers, and retractable undercarriage, if required rT 'op" speed is 195 miles per hour pp ;1 cruising speed 106 at 7000 ft T % e range is 750 miles
"wo machines of the new type will arrive in Sydney in February. Captain Pereival’s factory is the only one in Britain working to full capacity on its own machines, and is unable to accept Air Force orders.
