TOUR OF AMERICA
ORGANISATION OF CONDUCTED PARTY WESTERN COAST SCENES AND HOLLYWOOD A trip to America, embracing most of the Pacific Coast attractions, Vancouver, British Columbia, and above all a comprehensive visit to the principal studios of the film mecca, Hollywood, has been organised by Mr W. J. Heslehurst, and will take place from May 17 to July 25, 1938. The tour is “inclusive”; that is, all arrangements have been worked out in detail by the organiser—a traveller of wide experience. Leaving Auckland by the Aorangi, Suva and Honolulu will be visited on the way to Los Angeles, whence trips will be made to San Diego and Agua Caliente. The journey to San Francisco takes four days, during which the lofty Yosemite Falls will be seen. Comprehensive sight-see-ing tours of San Francisco and diStrict will be made* Sacramento* the historic capital Of California, will be visited, and the party will pass on to Grant’s Pass, Oregon City and Portland. Calgary is the next stopping place, from where it is a short stage to Banff in the Canadian Rockies. .
