GLASGOW EXHIBITION
ARRANGEMENTS FOR OPENING KING ASKED TO OFFICIATE (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Dec. 16. (Received Dec. 17, at 5.5 p.m.) A formal invitation has been extended to the King to open the Empire Exhibition at Glasgow, for which preparations are well advanced. Mr Walter Elliot, Secretary for Scotland, stated that it is expected to be visited by 15,000,000 to 20,000,000 people.
