GREATER THAN EVER CONDITIONS IN ENGLAND LONDON, Dec. 16. Indicative that there is no slackening in retail business and that Christmas spending is greater than ever the Bank of England note circulation is almost £502,000,000 —a new high record. The stock markets are firm and business is more brisk.
