COMING-OF-AGE PARTY

To celebrate the coming of age of their only daughter, Muriel, Mr and Mrs Borthwick gave an enjoyable parly at Wilson Hall. The 90 guests were received by Mr and Mrs Boithwick, the latter of whom wore black temercrc, and by Miss Borthwick, who was ii a blue floral satin tunic su't. The evening took the form of dancing and games, in the hands of .Messrs L. Sandom and W. Mercer. The sta.uc waltz was won by Miss May Duff and Mr Charles Galland. and the lucky spot by Miss Thelma Stevenson and Mr A. McGovern. After supper, the guest of honour’s father presented her with a golden key adorned with blue ribbon and posy. The principal toast of the evening was proposed by Mr Maurice Elder. " ..
