ART SOCIETY’S EXHIBITION

The Otago Art Society’s annual exhibition in the Pioneers’ Hall is attracting large attendances each day, and yesterday another picture, “ Late Afternoon in the Gorge,” by Enga Washburn,' was sold. The exhibition comprises over 200 oils, a similar number of water colours, as well as etchings, photographic prints, and examples of various arts and crafts. The display is attractively staged and should offer an interesting and beneficial study for all interested in the art of painting, and particularly for art students in Dunedin. The exhibition will be open to the public until December 4.
