INTOXICATED DRIVER
BEER PARTY "ON HIS OWN" FINED AND LICENCE CANCELLED (Per United Press Association) TIMARU, Nov. 16. A beer party "on his own" on a country road on Sunday led to Neil Macpherson, aged 49 years, a farm labourer, appearing before Mr H. Morgan, S.M., in the Police Court this morning to answei a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor car. He was fined £ls and his driver's licence cancelled till January 1, 1939.
