ALLEGED INCENDIARISM
A FIRE CHIEF CHARGED PROVIDING WORK FOR BRIGADE SAN JUAN, Nov. 15. (Received Nov. 16, at 7 p.m.) Andreo Montanez, chief of the fire brigade at Humacao, was charged with setting fire to houses in order to provide work for the brigade, the members of which were paid in accordance with the number of alarms A series of fires after a long period without them aroused the suspicion of the police, and they allege they caught Montanez's accomplice, who confessed.
