THE AUSTRALIAN TEAM A WIN AGAINST WIGAN LONDON, Nov. 3. The Kangaroos defeated Wigan by 25 points to 23. At half time Wigan led 10—8. The game was played at a terrific pace, play passing from one end of the Held to the other. There were many spectacular runs bv the players of both sides. Wigan was ahead 10—3, early, but soon after the commencement of the second half the Kangaroos led, 11— 10 The home side then gained the lead 15—11, and held a slender advantage until near the end. when the Australians scored a try and a goal to give them victory. The Kangaroos scored seven tries and two goals, and Wigan five tries and four goals.
