" Ratepayer," Oturehua. —It is unlikely that in view of the result of the poll on the proposal to raise a loan of £12,000 to assist in fhe erection of bridges in the Maniototo County that the members of the County Council would be disposed to take any steps to defeat the will of the ratepayers. " Geologist," Central Otago.—The stone used in the construction of the Dunedin Railway Station came from Kokonga (Central Otago). It was hewn from large boulders collected in that territory. The facings are of Oamaru stone and a small portion of Aberdeen granite was used for ornamental effects. "X Y Z."
