TROUT FISHING

SEASON AT ROTORUA AND TAUPO (Special to Daily Times) AUCKLAND, Oct. 27. With streams well stocked and with angling prospects regarded as promising, the trout fishing season in the Rotorua and Taupo districts will be commenced on Monday. In line with the policy of fish preservation i' had been intended to delay the opening for a fortnight, but. as a large number of overseas anglers had made specific plans to visit the Dominion, it was decided to adhere to the usual date. The season will close on May 14, 1938.
