NAPIER SESSIONS A BANKRUPT'S OFFENCES (Peb United Press Association) NAPIER, Oct. 27. In the Supreme Court at Napier, William James Hyde, a former caterer, was found guilty of charges of failing to keep proper books of account, and also of contracting debts without having reasonable expectations of paying them. Hyde, a member of a firm of caterers to public works camps, filed a petition in bankruptcy in November last, and a subseauent meeting of his creditors decided that the position should be investigated The prisoner was remanded until Friday for sentence. Another prisoner, John William M'Clure. who was to have appeared for trial on charges of escaping from lawful custody and of breaking, entering and theft, pleaded guilty, and was remanded for sentence.
