WOODS AND NOLAND DRAW (Per United Press Association) . CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 27. Joe Woods (15st 81b) and Don Noland (16st 101 b) drew, with one fall each, in a thrilling bout, which was described as a semi-final in the New Zealand elimination contest for the world title contest. Noland was awarded a penalty fall in the seventh round. . Woods had tied him. up in the ropes, so that he had to be extricated by the referee and a second, and Woods was ordered to his corner by the police for bouncing the ropes.
