"Just another indication of the upward trend of costs," said the Mayor (Mr I J. Goldstlne) at a meeting of the One Tree Hill Borough Council, when advice was received from the Auckland City Council that on future occasions any local body requiring the services of the council's traffic officers would have to pay for their services at not less than overtime rates. Advertising pays its way often many times over. It will permit lower prices through increased volume. It can reduce selling costs. It can lessen the time in which a product moves from factory to consumer.
