BURGLARY ON SHIP
MONEY STOLEN FROM BAR FRUITLESS INVESTIGATION SYDNEY, Oct. 24. Early on Friday morning the watchman on the Niagara, which arrived from Auckland to-day-, noticed that a pane of glass in a bar window had been broken. Investigation revealed that the till, containing £2 in silver, had been removed. Captain Toten and officers investigated the theft and detectives boarded the vessel on arrival, but the culprit has not been found.
