PRIMARY SCHOOL SPORTS

TEVIOT SUB-ASSOCIATION The annual sports of the Teviot State Primary Schools Sports Sub-asso-ciation were held at Miller's Flat last Saturday under ideal weather conditions. Entries were good and competition throughout was keen, but the attendance of the public was disappointing. The Miller's Flat School Committee was responsible for preparing the ground, and the success of the meeting was largely due to the efficient way in which this was done. Miller's Flat, with 49i points, retained the Herbert Smith Cup, Ettrick gaining 39, and Roxburgh 34J. The following are the detailed results (E. standing for Ettrick. M. for Miller's Flat and R. for Roxburgh):—
