SUGGESTION TO CLOSE SECTION OF CUMBERLAND STREET A section of Cumberland street, from Frederick street looking south, which may be closed and purchased to facilitate Hospital extensions. It is proposed to purchase the eastern side of the street for building purposes, but consideration is also being given to the larger question of taking over the entire thorougfare from Frederick street to Hanover street Such a course, besides proriding a complete Hospital block, would have the result of at least reducing traffic noises in the vicinity of the institution.
