“HEALTH MARCHES ON!”

PHYSICAL CULTURE DISPLAY The annual physical culture and gymnastic display of the Y.M.C.A., to be given under the appropriate title of “Health Marches On," will take place in his Majesty’s Theatre on Thursday, when approximately 300 performers will participate. The public will be afforded an excellent opportunity to observe the latest body-building exercises so necessary in promoting robust health. Novelty will be the keynote in the presentation of all items, which will be shown in colourful settings and with attractive incidental music. Gymnastic exhibitions on the horizontal bar, parallel bars, vaulting horse, and a humorous tumbling turn are outstanding features in the men’s portion of the programme. Special attention has been paid to spectacular lighting and costuming effects, and the whole production, with songs interspersed with the more vigorous items; should prove a popular attraction.’ Reasonable prices have been fixed and, as only one performance is being given, seats should be reserved as soon as possible at the D.I.C.
