A VALUABLE HAUL
THIEVES ENTER GOLF CLUBHOUSE ' BUILDING EXTENSIVELY DAMAGED (Per United Press Association) NAPIER, Oct. 12. Property valued at between £IOO and £l5O was stolen by thieves who broke into the clubhouse of the Maraenui Golf Club last night. The intruders, in addition, indulged in an orgy of wanton destruction, creating extensive damage to the building. The greater part of the haul consisted of new clubs and balls owned by A, Dyke, the club’s professional, as well as club trophies.
