DANCE AT TOWN HALL

Variety was the keynote of the programme mapped out for patrons of the popular weekly dance in the Main Town Hall on Saturday evening, and a spectacular sight was witnessed as some 1200 people danced to the lilting swing of the music rendered by n swing-time band. Vocal refrains were sung by the well-known radio vocalist. Mr James MacFarlane, who was also heard in several request numbers. A liberal supply of carnival novelties added enjoyment to the evening’s merriment.
