STILL CHOPS WOOD

EX-KAISER'S HEALTH IS GOOD DOORN (Holland), Sept. 17. The ex-Kaiser is spending four hours a day writing his memoirs. He still chops wood for exercise, and has set himself the task of finishing 100 heaps of woodblocks before Christmas. The fuel which he chops will then be distributed among poor villagers. Wilhelm's health impresses his visitors, who are mainly members of the Dutch nobility. His old friends in Germany come less and less often to see him. In his 79th year, he is learning to speak Dutch. He retired to Doom on November 10, 1918.
