THE EIGHT-BALL OVER
FAVOURED BY SOUTH AFRICA BOARD'S RECOMMENDATION JOHANNESBURG, Sept. 19. The South African Board of Control has sounded the death knell of the six-ball over. It has decided to recommend that the eight-ball over be adopted in league fixtures, and that it also apply to the projected Marylebone tour of 1938-39.
