A FATAL QUARREL

CHINESE COOLIE AND SAMOAN FORMER DIES OF INJURIES APIA, Aug. 22. (Received Aug. 23, at 1 a.m.) On Friday, at 6.30 a.m., a Samoan labourer quarrelled with a Chinese coolie. A fracas occurred,. and the coolie was struck on the head with a billet of firewood and seriously injured. He died a few hours afterwards. The Samoan is under arrest. An inquest will follow.
