REPORT ON YEAR'S WORKING THE BALANCE OF REVENUE (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Aug. 20. (Received Aug. 22, at 5.5 p.m.) The tonnage using the Port of London last year was the highest ever recorded, and the balance of revenue on the year's working was £1,533,726, compared witn £1,585,925 last year. The annual report of the Port of London Authority for the year ended "March 31, 1937, shows that the total net register tonnage of vessels using the port during the callander vear 1936 was 62,151,310. This compares with 59,762,150 tons in 1935 and 58,947,642 tons m 1934. The volume of goods imported in the 12 months ended March 31 was 35,276,733 tons, compared with 33,648,623 tons in the Previous year. The total revenue was £5, t . 68,938 and the total expenditure £4,253,212.
