Gough—Page On Saturday evening last the wedding was solemnised at the Caversham Presbyterian Church of Edna Dons, second daughter of Mr and Mrs F J. Page, of Caversham, and Clifford, son of Mr and Mrs J. Gough, also of Caversham. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. C. M. Sullivan, and Miss Dorothy Barron presided at the organ. The church was decorated with autumn foliage and pink chrysanthemums bv a girl friend of the bride. The bride was attired in a frock ox ivory magnolia satin the slim-fitting bodice finished with a cowl neckline and a row of tiny satin buttons and the gracefully flared skirt falling to form a short train Her embroidered tulle veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a trailing bouquet of lilies, freesias. chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern. She was attended bv ner sister Alma as bridesmaid, wearing a frock or lavender floral marocain with pink velvet sash and pink floral bandeau on her hair. Her bouquet was of pink and lavender chrysanthemums Miss Muriel Gough (niece of the bride groom) made a dainty little flower Rirl in an ankle-length frock of nmk flora! marocain, with tulle cap and carrying a Victorian nosv to tone with her frock The bridegroom was attended bv M» A. Kathleen at tended as bridesmaid Her frock was a floral crepe de chine cut on slimfitting lines and was also panelled to form a soft flare The leg-o’-mutton sleeves were tight-fitting from elbow to wrist and finished with tiny buttons. In her hair she wore apricot flowers and gold leaves Her shower bouquet was of apricot abutilons asparagus and maidenhair fern. The bridegroom was attended by Mr W Risk as best man. A reception was hold in the Bay learooms. where the bride’s mother received the guests wearing a navy striped costume and navy hat. Shaw, of Orton, South Canterbury and Theophile, the elder son of Mr and Mrs V Le Lievre. of Gapes Valley. The Rev J N. Reid, of the Orari Presbyterian circuit, was the officiating minister and Miss Linda Cain was organist. The bride wore a graceful gown of parchment lace having a softly falling cowl neckline and long, tight-fitting sleeves, the skirt falling into a slight train She wore a necklet of crystal beads, and her veil of embroidered tulle, arranged over the face fell from a Mary Stuart cap She carried a shower bouquet of heleboris and maidenhair fern Miss Jane Shaw attended as bridesmaid. and was attired in a frock of powdor-blue quilted taffeta and a halo head-dress of nink and blue roses, and carried a bououet of pink and white chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern Mr L. Le Lievre attended his brother as best man. When Mr and Mrs T. Le Lievre left for their wedding tour the bride travelled in a wine-coloured costume, with toque to match, and a fox fur, the gift of the bridegroom. Their home will be at Geraldine.
