WRECKED SCHOONER

CREW PICKED UP BY NIAGARA

ALL CARGO SAFELY LANDED

APIA, June 21 (Received June 22, at 5.5 p.m.)

The Niagara arrived at Hull Island at 7 a.m. to-day and picked up the captain and crew of the schooner Makoa, which was wrecked at the island and has become a total loss. The overseer and also the labour gang and the carpenters, who were shipped by the Makoa for the Burns, Philp Company's plantation, are remaining, as all the cargo was safely landed. The vessel was wrecked on May 25.
