RECORD ESTATE FOR AN AUTHOR VALUED AT £300,000 LONDON, June 21. (Received June 21, at 5.5 p.m.) It is believed that Sir James Barrie left £300,000, the largest sum that any British author has left. the executors of the estate include the New Zealand holder of the Victoria Cross, Colonel B. C. Freyberg. ■
